ELVERTA, CA (MPG) - On Tuesday, July 28, Congressman Mike Thompson hosted an “Ask Me Anything” Town Hall in Elverta with Assemblymember Maggy Krell. Congressman Thompson responded to questions and concerns raised by the constituents in attendance on issues that matter most to our district including bringing down the cost of living, standing up to ICE abuses against citizens, getting money out of politics and improving our infrastructure.

“I continue to be impressed with Assemblymember Krell and her outstanding work for our area. It was an honor to participate in a town hall with her. I hear from people regardless of party that the government needs to be accountable to the people. It is why I am so proud to hold these town halls and partner with state officials to ensure we can deliver for Sacramento County” said Thompson. “I will work with anyone to fight for the people of our district because gas prices are too high, ICE is unchecked, and we are getting dragged into another forever war. Thank you to everyone who joined me in Elverta for these crucial conversations ”

“Tonight was about connecting with the community and standing with a long time leader in Congress, Congressman Mike Thompson,” said Assemblymember Krell. “I am grateful for the Congressman's commitment to understanding the issues that matter to our district. He has been a tireless advocate for working people, and I look forward to continuing to partner with him for the betterment of our region, state and nation.”
