RIO LINDA, CA (MPG) – The Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Parks District flag football skills class is back this August! Whether your child is new to the game or wants to sharpen their skills, this fun, no-contact program is the perfect place to learn, build confidence and make new friends.

The class will consist of four-week sessions teaching players passing, catching and running techniques, defensive strategies and agility drills, teamwork and game basics.

Admission for the class is $80 per person however; Twin Rivers Unified School District students may qualify to have their registration fees fully covered by the district. Interested families should complete the Twin Rivers Interest Form to be added to the eligibility list.

The skills classes will take place at Developing Youth Athletes located at 6801 Curved Bridge Road, Suite B in Rio Linda. Classes will be held every Wednesday from Aug. 5 to 26.

Class times will be divided into two different slots based on age of athletes. Ages 4 to 7 will have classes from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and classes will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for ages 8 to 14.
