RIO LINDA, CA (MPG) – At its June 16 board meeting, the Twin Rivers Unified School District celebrated students for a variety of accomplishments including statewide honors and championship-winning projects. The district posted to its Facebook page congratulating twenty-eight Twin Rivers graduates who earned one or more associate degrees this school year. The students were recognized as their names were added to the Dual Enrollment Graduates Wall, located in the district’s Board Room.
Trustees also honored 133 students at the meeting who earned the California State Seal of Biliteracy and celebrated students from Vista Nueva and Foothill high schools for earning Best in Show at the 2026 Northern California Design Build Competition. The event, hosted by the Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF), challenges teams to design and construct a 96-square-foot structure from the ground up.
