RIO LINDA, CA (MPG) – Is your resume college or job application ready? Prove it! The Rio Linda Elverta Chamber of Commerce has opened its 2026 resume competition for high school students aged 14 to 19, offering a valuable opportunity for teens to gain real-world experience and prepare for life after high school.

Students who enter must live or attend school within the 95835, 95838, 95673, 95626, 95843, 95660 and 95652 ZIP codes.

Submissions will be accepted now through April 30. Email your resume to [email protected] to enter. Winners will be announced May 15.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three entries, with $300 for first place, $200 for second place and $100 for third place.
