April Service Adjustments to Improve On-Time Performance

SACRAMENTO REGION, CA (MPG) – The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) will implement adjustments on seven bus routes effective April 6 to enhance on-time performance and maintain reliable connections across the system. 

The changes will affect the following bus routes: 21, 25, 68, 81, 93, 137 and 138. Riders are encouraged to review the updated schedules online at sacrt.com/servicechanges or call 916-321- BUSS (2877) for assistance. 

Key Adjustments

Route 21 Sunrise (Weekdays): Up to eight minutes of travel time will be added to certain trips.

Route 25 Marconi (Weekdays): Up to five minutes of travel time will be added to certain trips.  

Route 68 Oak Park (Weekdays): The trip that currently leaves Arden Fair at 3:56 p.m. will leave two minutes later at 3:58 p.m. All times will shift accordingly.  

Route 81 Florin (Weekdays): The schedule is being adjusted along the trip to mimic actual service conditions.  

Route 93 Hillsdale (Weekdays): Up to four minutes of travel time will be added on certain trips.  

Route 137 (Weekdays): Up to eight minutes of travel time will be added to the morning trip. The route will also travel on Highway 99 longer and exit on Broadway instead of MLK Boulevard. In addition, service to two bus stops along MLK Boulevard will be discontinued.  

Route 138 (Weekdays): Up to 10 minutes of travel time will be added to certain trips.
