RIO LINDA, CA (MPG) - The Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District is now hiring seasonal employees for the upcoming summer, with positions available for recreation leaders and pool cashiers.

District officials said they are looking for energetic, responsible and positive individuals to support summer programming and pool operations as the season approaches.

Recreation leader positions will focus on the district’s summer camp programs. Responsibilities include leading games, crafts, sports and themed activities; supervising and engaging campers; and helping maintain a safe, structured and fun environment. Recreation leaders are also expected to serve as positive role models for youth participants.

Pool cashiers will assist with daily operations during the summer pool season. Duties include greeting and checking in guests, handling admissions and transactions, providing customer service, and supporting the high volume of visitors typical during peak swim months.

According to the District the positions offer valuable work experience, a team-oriented environment and flexible seasonal schedules, along with the opportunity to contribute to the local community.
