Fan-Favorite Events Return this Spring

RIO LINDA, CA (MPG) – Some of Rio Linda/Elverta’s most beloved community events will make their return this spring, with dates set for the Country Craft Faire, Farm & Tractor Days and the annual Duck Derby.

The 5th Annual RLE Country Craft Faire is set to take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 23 at the Dry Creek Ranch House, 6852 Dry Creek Road, Rio Linda. The event offers a day of shopping from a variety of local vendors selling jewelry, candles, kitchen utensils, soap, birdhouses, art, rocks and crystals and more. A Dinner at the Diner Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser will be held Saturday, April 18 to raise funds for the faire. Tickets are $25 per plate, and food will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. at Creekside Diner, 950 Oak Lane, Rio Linda. Everyone who purchases a ticket will be placed in a drawing to win a door prize.

The 31st Annual Farm & Tractor Days presented by the Rio Linda/Elverta Historical Society will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 16 and 17 at the Dry Creek Ranch House. Antique tractors, cars and fire trucks will be shown at the event. There will also be children’s activities including hayrides, farm animals, pinewood derby and tractor parades.
