MCCLELLAN, CA (MPG) - Twin Rivers Unified School District invites families of incoming Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten students to its upcoming Kindergarten Roundup event.

This year, events were held on two separate dates, Jan. 29 and Feb. 28. Kindergarten Roundup provides families with important information on Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs, assistance with enrollment, and guidance on how to support a smooth transition from home to school for their young learners.  

For families who missed the first Kindergarten Roundup on Jan. 29, there’s still another chance to learn about kindergarten enrollment. The second event will take place 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at Castori Elementary School, 1801 South Ave., Sacramento.

To enroll in Transition Kindergarten, TK, your child must be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2026. To enroll in kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old on or by Sept. 1, 2026.
