ELVERTA, CA (MPG) – The whole family is invited to Cherry Island Golf Course on Oct. 30 for Trunk or Treat, a free community event to enjoy a safe Halloween celebration.

Cherry Island Golf Course, located at 2360 Elverta Road, is scheduled to host the Halloween event in the parking lot and quad area from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a putting contest, trick-or-treating, and a decorating contest. The guest with the spookiest trunk decorations will win a prize from Cherry Island.

Businesses are also encouraged to participate in the event, promoting their products or services while staying on the Halloween theme. A poll on social media will determine who has the most decorated trunk and the winner will receive a prize.

The golf course is still looking for individuals who would like to volunteer their decorated trunk.
