ELVERTA, CA (MPG) - Trunk-or-Treat is coming to Cherry Island Golf Course on Oct. 30, giving local businesses an opportunity to advertise while they pass out candy to trick-or-treaters and participate in a decorating contest for the spookiest trunk. 

Businesses are encouraged to participate in the event and promote their product or service while staying on the Halloween theme. A poll on social media will determine who has the most decorated trunk and the winner will receive a prize. 

Vendor registration is open until Oct. 16, two weeks before the start of the event, and the golf course welcomes businesses from Sacramento and surrounding counties to participate.

In addition to passing out candy, the Trunk-or-Treat is expected to feature a putting contest, kids’ trivia, simulator games and more. 

A Carnival Day was previously scheduled for the golf course on Sept. 13 but was canceled, due to tournament conflicts.
