RIO LINDA, CA (MPG) – Looking for fun activities to do with the whole family? The Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District has two upcoming events for residents to spend a night of family quality time.

Family Paint Night is a creative and fun-filled evening for the whole family. Whether you are a seasoned artist or just looking to try something new, this guided paint experience is the perfect way to spend quality time together while creating your very own spring-themed masterpiece. It will be from 6 to 8 p.m. May 2 at the Rio Linda Community, 810 Oak Lane. Tickets are $15 per person.

Each participant will receive all the materials needed to create their own masterpiece, including paint, brushes and a canvas. A step-by-step instruction from a local artist will also be provided.

Family Paint Night attendees can expect a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere filled with creativity and fun. Pre-registration is required to attend family paint night by registering at rleparks.com. Every individual, including children and adults, must be signed up in advance.

Following that, Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District’s next big event will be the third annual Pool Bash, opening day at the pool, on June 13. It is a fun-filled night of swimming, music, food and family fun at the Rio Linda High School Pool.

The Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District is partnering with the Rio Linda Lions Club, sponsor of the event, to provide a free meal to all the families attending. Meal details will be announced as the event approaches.

Grab your swimsuit, bring your friends and family and make a splash at this summer kickoff event. The Pool Bash will be from 4 to 8 p.m. June 13 at the Rio Linda High School pool, 6309 Dry Creek Road. Admission is $4.
