SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Girl Scouts Heart of Central California (GSHCC) invites girls of all ages to join a fun-filled day of Girl Scout Expo at the Aerospace Museum on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

At Girl Scout Expo, girls from Kindergarten through 12th grade will have the opportunity to explore Girl Scout programming in STEM, Life Skills, Entrepreneurship, and the Outdoors. Girls will meet GSHCC program partners, participate in girl-led booths, and engage with exhibits at the Aerospace Museum.

Through an engaging introduction of Girl Scouts programming and hands-on activities every girl will engage with their own curiosity, dreams, and talents. The Mobile STEM Center will be available for girls to embrace their spirit of scientific discovery.

“Girl Scouts will unleash their imaginations, discover science experiments, earn badge steps at Girl Scout Expo,” said Linda E. Farley, Ed.D. “GSHCC continues to provide safe spaces for girls to become the fearless leaders of our future.”

Girls looking to attend Girl Scout Expo can show up to the Aerospace Museum and register at the door. Program fees are $15 per girl and no charge for accompanying adults. Girls who purchase a ticket to attend Girl Scout Expo and end up signing up to become a Girl Scout will have their membership fee waived. For this event, girls are recommended to wear close toed shoes and encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle as well as an outdoor hat.
