Brian Gross Named Head Baseball Coach at Rio Linda High School

RIO LINDA, CA (MPG) - Twin Rivers Unified is excited to announce that Brian Gross will serve as the new head baseball coach at Rio Linda High School. Gross, a 1990 graduate of Rio Linda High School, served as an assistant baseball coach for the past two years.
“I am honored and thrilled to be named the head baseball coach at Rio Linda High School,” said Gross. “My love for the game, combined with my deep connection to this community, fuels my passion for coaching. I look forward to working with our talented athletes and our families.”
As a varsity athlete at Rio Linda High School, Gross excelled in both baseball and basketball, earning all-league honors and competing in the 1989 CIF Section, Division 2, baseball championship game. His standout high school career culminated in his selection for the Optimist All-Star baseball team in 1990.
Following graduation, Gross pursued professional baseball, playing in the independent league for the Montreal Expos organization in Roanoke, Virginia in 1991 and the Minnesota Twins organization in Elizabethton, Tennessee in 1992.
Gross is a lifelong resident of Rio Linda.
